Wage Slaves is featured on the Oregon Media Central blog:
Premiering next week, new web comedy series “Wage Slaves” takes a hilarious, bittersweet look at life in a Portland coffee shop, where “the pay is meager, the humiliation plentiful, and the customers are always wrong.” The show also makes a case for how the web could be a new frontier in Portland’s entertainment scene.
Makes me blushy. Seriously, that’s an awesome piece, and I can’t possibly thank them enough. The Oregon Media Central blog is in the will!
Monkeyshines and Shenanigans: Welcome to Wage Slaves

Wage Slaves is a new web-series about life in a coffee shop in Portland, Oregon, where the pay is meager, the humiliation plentiful, and the customers are always wrong.
It stars these people with their wacky antics and foolish horseplay. For all their monkeyshines and shenanigans, they’re amazing. Seriously. If you like nothing else about Wage Slaves, you will at least love the actors, I promise.
The first season consists of six episodes (or “webisodes”) that vary from 12 to 18 minutes each — longer than a commercial but still shorter than a sitcom.
The pilot episode premieres on Tuesday, July 21st, 2009, and another episode debuts every Tuesday thereafter.
I’m not the boss of you, but it would be great if you watched it — and if you’re so inclined, let us know what you think!
